This set of exercises is based on a classic 8-brocade qigong series, energy management techniques, and a heart-healing meditation. Regular practice of these exercises will stretch, strengthen, and mobilize the body, and are gentle enough to include in your daily exercise routine.
It is perfectly well and good to choose the movements you wish to do, how many, and to omit others. It is my wish that you feel encouraged to try new things, stay curious, and open-minded about the possibilities for having an uplifted mood and a positive outlook on life.
Many of the exercises can be done while sitting in a chair. Listen to your body and make yourself comfortable. Even visualizing the exercises can bring about a significant benefit to mental health and overall wellbeing. EnJOY!
