Welcome to Reiki level 1! In this first video you will learn the fundamentals of what reiki is, and how it works for the Highest Good on all levels of being. I will explain the history of the Japanese system of reiki we call Usui Reiki, and how it evolved through its transmission to reiki masters on different continents and various cultures over the past 100 hundred years.

This video is taken from a live training where you will hear portions of the course handbook read aloud by participants. Please find your handbook in the Extras to print out and follow along. I have made an effort to edit the video in such a way to be cohesive yet protect identifying details and privacy of the participants.
